We had a weekend of farewells, and now more than ever, it feels so real!!

Last Saturday we took a drive to Melbourne to deliver our much-loved Lexi pooch to her new home for the next 12 months. This was such a hard decision for us.
She has gone to live with friends who have a little girl and we know Lexi will be so loved there. Seeing her tail wagging and making herself at home instantly definitely helped calm the nerves.

Sunday afternoon we had a wonderful farewell gathering with some of our nearest and dearest at local brewery Little Creatures.
It was great to see everyone and have the chance to catchup before we set off.

In 7 days we board that plane and head off. First stop Ho Chi Minh.
12 months of slow travel up our sleeve.

Our to-do list is slowly, but surely getting smaller. The house is looking pretty bare. Another few days of packing, sorting and more packing. We got this!!
