Wouldn’t it be wonderful if every weekend was a long one?

We are back to school and work today after a whopping four day long weekend. The kids had a Curriculum day on Friday and then of course, yesterday was the Labour Day public holiday here in Victoria.

We had discussed heading away, but instead decided to stay home, catchup on a few things around the house and spend time with family and friends.
Cooking, baking, book shopping, puzzle making, sleepovers with friends, some girly shopping time with Lily and kids birthday parties. It was perfect!

Starting our short week feeling refreshed and rested. Just what the doctor ordered.
